Without any trust, there is no way you can feel hope inside.
Trust has been broken for good, and it isn’t worth the ride.
Hope is an expectation that something will happen for you,
It can be something big or small, many or just one or two.
But when you have to fight constantly, and you keep getting beaten down;
It makes you feel like a piece of trash, that is thrown to the ground.
You are given no respect, when that is something you had before.
You feel the whole world is against you, and they have more in store.
You can only fall down so many times, before you give up hope.
you have come to the end, and you can’t hold on anymore to the rope.
You have cried out for help for over two years with no help in sight.
Continuing down this path shows that you are not very bright.
You have been punched, kicked, abused, and beaten just a few.
There is nobody who understands what you are going through.
Even the people who claim to love you, say you are on your own.
They are insensitive to others, with their white privilege thrown.
They don’t take the time to look at things from another perspective.
They wear their own shoes and then think you are defective.
But if they knew what it was like to be you, feeling your pain.
They would start to think about what’s best for YOU, without refrain.
But that doesn’t happen at all, moving forward you see.
They want to destroy you and will not let you just be.
They bark out orders to you, thinking that they know the way.
But they are not you, and they think it is best for you stay.
The only way to get hope, is to cut off each and every tie.
This will take bravery and courage unlike any other guy.
But when you do this you will get the fresh start you deserve.
That is the price that they will pay, for having some nerve.
