Fear, oh the fear, that makes my heart race.
It can slow it down, or make it go, at a fast pace.
I start to think about things, that may not be true.
Sometimes these fears, are many, not just a few.
If I choose to fight fear, it will most likely win.
It won’t care about where I’m going, or have been.
It really wants, to just keep me safe and sound.
It doesn’t like flying, it likes to be on the ground.
I can not fight fear, and I can not even ignore it.
That will just scare it, and start to aggravate it
I aknowledge that it is present, whenever it arrives.
Felling all emotions, is part of our, everyday lives.
I must learn to dance with fear, for it’s the only way.
I can choose to break dance, salsa or even do ballet.
Fear lets me know, that I am onto something, great.
I just need to reassure it, that I’ll get past the gate.
