TWO CENTS

The most powerful word, in the English language, is choose.
Humans beings always choose something, to gain or to lose.
Choices, that we make, are based on knowledge or on belief.
The results of our choices, will either bring joy or bring grief.

Making choices, we think about our past, present, and future.
Painful memories, will change our choices, for r] isk of a suture.
Choices made by some, may not be understood by the crowd.
Any without our history or beliefs, choose shame over proud.

Disagreeing with your choices, they think there is a better way.
They judge you for not traveling their path, you’ve gone astray.
Choosing the pathway of their suggestions, isn’t a good choice.
Never understanding, who you are, not listening to your voice.

The best thing for them, not the best for you, is point of view.
The reasons we have for making decisions, are many, not few.
Respect of each other, our perspectives, needed to understand.
Some, who’ve never faced the reaper, don’t wear a wristband.

It’s often said to never judge, before walking in their own shoes.
Understand that shoes don’t make choices, or go on interviews.
The inner person makes the choices, not the one on the outside.
Considering risks and reward, with the choices that are supplied.

Adults make choices, no longer having the experience, of a child.
Watching these choices, one might be scared of the unknown wild.
Acknowledging that these choices are for them, is very important.
Suggestions are not decisions for them, advice is worth two cent.
