DESTINATION: PLEASANT

All the good things in life, are found on the other side of fear.
Enduring difficult emotions, can always be, a pain in the rear.
Most people hate feeling difficult emotions, wanting it to go.
Not truly understanding, they gave up, what they can bestow.

Take discomfort, it is a feeling outside, of the comfort zone.
Everyone feels this emotion frequently, you are not alone.
This uncomfortable feeling, tells you to go slowly, not fast.
You are traveling into uncharted territory, not unsurpassed.

Take embarrassment, the outcome didn’t meet expectations.
Worried about fear and judgement, and other complications.
Embarrassment and reflection, form wisdom to set it anew.
These are the things you must carry out, and wisely pursue.

Take surprise, the most complex of all the things, we feel.
Our reaction determines if we’re shocked, or find it surreal.
The unexpected, caught us off guard, needing a reaction.
It can have any valance, needing an adoption or retraction.

Take remorse, a distressing emotion when hurting another.
Shameful, hurtful, and wrong actions that are like no other.
Feeling guilty and judged, the cure to this is compassion.
Forgiveness, love, and kindness are always in high fashion.

Take regret, wishing that you’ve made a different decision.
The unfavorable consequences, needed actions of precision.
Planning for the worst, the best, never really did transpire.
A perceived opportunity, to try again, which will soon expire.

We often, attach feelings to emotions, impacting our mood.
Missing the signals that are needed, to make things renewed.
The signal, is meant to encourage, a certain type of conduct.
Not always seeing that, because of the emotional obstruct.
