At 6:30 in the morning, do you want to hit the snooze on your alarm?
Do you view that alarm to be like a bomb, that you just wish to disarm.
Like many people in this world, the answer to this question is the same.
When you are slow to arise, it is really your life that you need to reclaim.
Half of Americans go into work, doing jobs that they really hate doing.
It is really a different life, that they would ultimately like to be perusing.
They are unsatisfied and left unfulfilled with the life that they currently live.
They need to change something, so it will not be a life they have to forgive.
Those who are satisfied; do their job, are committed, and are a success.
They wear a smile on their face, and still consider themselves blessed.
But there is really something missing, that they still need to pursue.
That thing is called engagement, and it is something for me, and for you.
You are engaged, when you are committed, to your organization’s mission.
You’re committed, care, and contribute regardless of your salary or position.
You don’t work for a promotion or paycheck, you always want to perform.
You have a desire to become better and you want to rise above the norm.
You want to be regarded as the best, and help your company reach its goals.
You will always do whatever it takes, when it is you, sitting behind the controls.
You are engaged when you give discretionary effort that can not be surpassed.
You do this, because you want to, not because you have to, which are in contrast.
When your job captures your head and your heart, that is ultimately the magic dust.
Those things can only happen when you are committed and have mutual trust.
Committed employees are more likely to help a company perform and succeed.
Those who are not committed at work, are more likely to look for a job on Indeed.
Believe it or not, your boss is the biggest factor in helping your boat to stay afloat.
Imagine that your work represents ten people, that are just sitting inside a boat.
Three people are rowing the boat, and five people are just watching the scene.
Two people are sinking the boat, because they don’t feel like part of the team.
Teams are able to build trust, if the leader is competent, has integrity, and cares.
This will make your team achieve at a high level and no longer need any repairs.
We can only do great things, when we feel safe to take risks and be vulnerable.
It is then that we can change, be creative, and innovative, and live a life that is full.
