THE REGULATING PART

Awareness of anything, is the start, but then regulating, is the next part.
Hearing the smoke detector, you arise to find the source and hit restart.
Your emotions and feelings, are like that smoke detector that is alarming.
You must first determine if the coast is clear, and it’s safe to be disarming.

Your emotions and feelings, are what motivate and move your entire body.
All of these things are really unique to just you, not the same for everybody.
They energize us by sending chemical signals, to our muscles and our gut.
These signals tell the urgency of something, like if we have a massive cut.

As we learn to self-regulate, our body is really just responding to stress.
We choose to approach, avoid, or attack stress, with our own alertness.
We finally learn to understand and manage, our behavior and reactions.
Focusing on ourselves, and what we can control, ignoring any distractions.

Doing this helps for us to learn, get along with others, and finally be free.
Focusing and learning to be ourselves, no longer worried about popularity.
Whenever regulating is involved, we must also talk about taking self-control.
Using the power to direct or determine our actions, will all play a vital role.

When you self-regulate, you start to think a lot about your own thoughts.
Conscious thoughts have a cause and an effect, separating us from robots.
We learn to plan and organize tasks by the thoughts and emotions inside.
We then must initiate and sustain our efforts, so that we aren’t ever denied.

Learning to think flexibly helps us control our emotions, both good and bad.
We learn from all of our past successes and failures, that we have ever had.
We can finally reflect on all of the things, that didn’t really go our way before.
We ask ourselves, “What is it that we really want?”, as we approach the door.

Our emotional brain has failed us in the past, by acting in an unexpected way.
We didn’t get what we wanted before, because our emotions were on display.
Approaching the door, pause the scene, and just act with love and kindness.
Acting in a very expected way, you will finally see, just beyond your blindness.
